This installation was born from a simple observation:
fast fashion produces more than people can emotionally, physically or environmentally sustain.
Millions of garments are manufactured at extreme speed, often in low-cost production countries where labor exploitation and pollution become part of the supply chain.
T-shirts — one of the most mass-produced objects in contemporary culture — become both material and message: every phrase printed on them acts as irony, provocation and criticism.
Phrases that imitate the language of marketing, advertising and consumer culture, turning it into something openly contradictory.
What normally exists as a product becomes sculpture.
What usually disappears through consumption becomes impossible to ignore.
