In 1936 Auguste Michel opened his hat shop on rue Sainte-Anne in Paris. Milliner to the haute couturiers, the house's heritage is rooted in bespoke techniques and refined hand craftsmanship. Now part of Chanel's Métiers d'Art group, the maison continues to modernise its methods of creation for ready-to-wear hats, accessories and coquetteries.
